Alam Ramachandran in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wong Teo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ang Paine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Alam Ramachandran succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 38th playminute. If Alam Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Swadlincote's goalkeeper Wong Teo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Gage Siang put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wong Teo. Amir Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Padstow United fully deserved thier win.
