Spectators: 6856 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mohammad Hsi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Kings Cross's Fariz Hee got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Kings Cross's Alif Politiek in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eltham AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Kings Cross's Rudy Hee took a good shot, in the 10th minute, which hit the crossbar above Dylon Pickering's head, and flew over the goal. Eltham AFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Kings Cross. Dylon Pickering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alif Politiek in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Eltham AFC's Vince Couch got a free kick in the 14th minute. Mohammad Hsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Alif Politiek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kings Cross fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Robert Lightfoot scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudy Hee, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dylon Pickering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hsi in the 33rd minute of play. Eltham AFC's Dylon Pickering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee Dyce in the 34th minute of play. If Fariz Hee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylon Pickering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alif Politiek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Eltham AFC's Robert Lightfoot got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Kings Cross's Alif Politiek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dylon Pickering made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dylon Pickering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haziq Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Alif Politiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylon Pickering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kings Cross's Wei Xuan Leng got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Dimmock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudy Hee came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eltham AFC's Ronny Beecham. But to his dismay, Ronny Beecham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience was convinced that Mohammad Hsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylon Pickering was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Mohammad Hsi succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-4. In the 75th minute, Alif Politiek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dylon Pickering. The goal made the score 2-6. After a defensive mix-up in Eltham AFC's zone, Mohammad Hsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Pickering came out of the goal and Mohammad Hsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Rudy Hee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylon Pickering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eltham AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haziq Cheng was slow to take the kick. During this time Kings Cross's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kings Cross's Haziq Cheng to fire away a dangerous shot which Dylon Pickering despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dylon Pickering showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alif Politiek, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd minute, Sebastien Boulton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match, Alif Politiek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dylon Pickering was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Eltham AFC's Dylon Pickering got control of the ball when Alif Politiek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Haziq Cheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Pickering having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Robert Lightfoot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kings Cross played a much better game than Eltham AFC and deserved their victory. The Eltham AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
