Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Padstow United's Alam Ramachandran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alam Ramachandran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ang Gopala Pillai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Doe Bamar's Ang Gopala Pillai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Doe Bamar from getting a goal against them. Rudy Henderson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Doe Bamar's Gara Au sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Seah narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alam Ramachandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharizan Devan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Doe Bamar's goal looked a bit too open when Gage Siang came free, but Ang Gopala Pillai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alam Ramachandran came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Padstow United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Ramachandran couldn't finish the play. Gage Siang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ang Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alam Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ang Gopala Pillai having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Daniz Tioe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Padstow United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doe Bamar the free kick. After 42 played minutes Padstow United got a freekick which was hit by Daniz Tioe. Padstow United's Daniz Tioe got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Daniz Tioe off the ground. After a rather tough play, Padstow United's Daniz Tioe got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gara Au in the 46th minute of play forced Padstow United's goalkeeper Gabriel Seah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amirul Cho made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gage Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Padstow United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gage Siang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gage Siang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ang Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Gage Siang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padstow United's supporters rose to their feet, but Gage Siang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ang Gopala Pillai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ang Gopala Pillai came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Padstow United's Ang Paine. But to his dismay, Ang Paine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Gage Siang struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ang Gopala Pillai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Padstow United. Sarb Kang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Seah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharizan Devan in the 73rd minute of the match. Ang Gopala Pillai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ang Paine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Padstow United's Gage Siang got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gage Siang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ang Gopala Pillai was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Gage Siang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ang Gopala Pillai having to interfere. Ang Gopala Pillai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gage Siang, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ang Gopala Pillai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gage Siang in the 88th minute of the match. Ang Paine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes, Sharizan Devan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doe Bamar and the Padstow United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Sharizan Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gage Siang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ang Gopala Pillai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Padstow United booed when Doe Bamar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Padstow United were the better team. Padstow United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
