Gabriel Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Chandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Padstow United's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Chew came free, but Gabriel Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Eastcote booed when Padstow United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alam Ramachandran in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bakar Dryburgh, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ali Cho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Padstow United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakar Dryburgh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zack Siong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Seah having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Gage Siang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Padstow United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When Amir Hsi fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastcote's protests and gave Amir Hsi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eastcote getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Amir Hsi hit a great ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Alam Ramachandran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eastcote's Bakar Dryburgh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Alam Ramachandran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakar Dryburgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bakar Dryburgh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniz Tioe in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Alam Ramachandran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Padstow United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. If Lee Chandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alam Ramachandran in the 100th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bakar Dryburgh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Padstow United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
