Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Yatton United's Darren Shiong started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danny Newlyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donny Butterfield made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Arif Seah sent off a good shot on target. Donny Butterfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Shiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donny Butterfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Shiong in the 14th minute of the match. Donny Butterfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Shiong in the 19th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Jordan Lightfoot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirton AFC and the Yatton United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jordan Lightfoot kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Donny Butterfield managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Yatton United's Arif Seah fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Pirton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Shiong came free, but Donny Butterfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Phillip Porter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darren Shiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Danny Newlyn made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yatton United's Hidayat Nair tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Danny Newlyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Newlyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hidayat Nair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yatton United's Afriz Tan got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Arif Seah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Pirton AFC's Vince Mayall slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hidayat Nair. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. Vince Mayall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Hidayat Nair made a huge save. Shah Chian hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Pirton AFC's Vince Mayall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hidayat Nair narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arif Seah struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Donny Butterfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yatton United. If Vince Mayall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afriz Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pirton AFC's Danny Newlyn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hidayat Nair. That made the score 1-3 after 82 minutes of play. Yatton United's Hidayat Nair played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Newlyn in the 87th minute of play. If Danny Newlyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Danny Newlyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Newlyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hidayat Nair breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
