Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felix Soon kicked off to start the match. Ross on Wye's Firdauz Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Chuan in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Faiz Seng made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Newcastle-upon-Tyne's Gara Soon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Lamar Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firdauz Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Newcastle-upon-Tyne got a freekick which was hit by Tan Chuan. Noh Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Firdauz Paine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faizal Hoe in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Tan Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firdauz Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Tan Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Chuan in the 35th minute of play forced Ross on Wye's goalkeeper Firdauz Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ross on Wye's zone, Tan Chuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firdauz Paine came out of the goal and Tan Chuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ross on Wye's Firdauz Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Chuan in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Newcastle-upon-Tyne booed when Ross on Wye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shukrie Au didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Lamar Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Firdauz Paine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lamar Henderson scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Firdauz Paine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tan Chuan to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Tioe during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes into the game, one of Ross on Wye:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felix Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes Newcastle-upon-Tyne got a freekick which was hit by Prime Phua. Ross on Wye's Firdauz Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Chuan in the 67th minute of play. Lamar Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Firdauz Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firdauz Paine made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Lamar Henderson sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Lamar Henderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Firdauz Paine didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. The Ross on Wye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newcastle-upon-Tyne were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
