After 40 minutes of play, Seer Green United's Clive Nagasaki made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merlin Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the match, Archway's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Nagasaki came free, but Merlin Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. SK Choo was the one to do the kick off. Merlin Teo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clive Nagasaki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sharizan Hock got free with Merlin Teo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Archway fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Seer Green United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
