Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, İnter's Clive Nair sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tan Hsin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Didi Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudy Shiong during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes İnter got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Shiong. After having played for 15 minutes, Khai Lee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanmore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khai Lee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Khai Lee struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Fariz Chan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanmore. Didi Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fariz Chan having to interfere. Khai Lee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Fariz Chan made a huge save. The supporters of Stanmore booed when İnter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Shukrie Politiek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tan Hsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shukrie Politiek in the 33rd minute of play forced Stanmore's goalkeeper Tan Hsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Shukrie Politiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudy Shiong hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khai Lee in the 39th minute of play forced İnter's goalkeeper Fariz Chan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, İnter's Rudy Shiong got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Stanmore booed when İnter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shukrie Politiek made a kick off. If Khai Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dale Amin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Afiq Ramachandran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Tan Hsin, was totally fooled by İnter's Iskandar Dyce, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Famih Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Didi Chan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fariz Chan having to interfere. Khai Lee hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Stanmore's goalkeeper Tan Hsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clive Nair. The crowd rose to their feet as Shukrie Politiek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tan Hsin. That made the score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play. Chants of İnter echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Stanmore had held the ball for most of the match.
