Spectators: 6839 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 0) Tan Hsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Beadel in the 4th minute of play. Julian Beadel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 played minutes Julian Beadel rounded Stanmore's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Stanmore's Khai Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khai Lee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Johnny Etherington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brandon Bartrup kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Clay got free with Tan Hsin in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Julian Beadel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Julian Beadel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tan Hsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Beadel in the 31st minute of play forced Stanmore's goalkeeper Tan Hsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Todd Clay took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tan Hsin to make any attempt to save it. Johnny Etherington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khai Lee in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Gregory Duckworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khai Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Etherington having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match Afiq Ramachandran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Etherington skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Khai Lee was the one to do the kick off. Stefan Kaye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanmore's Khairil Pillai quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gordon Dingle, made in the 55th minute of the game. Didi Chan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Johnny Etherington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stanmore. In the 64th match minute, Moretonhampstead United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Dingle to maneuver through the defense. Khai Lee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Etherington having to make a save. A collision led to Moretonhampstead United getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Brandon Bartrup hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Julian Beadel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tan Hsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Todd Clay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tan Hsin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Moretonhampstead United's zone, Didi Chan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Etherington came out of the goal and Didi Chan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanmore's Didi Chan got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Stanmore's zone, Todd Clay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tan Hsin came out of the goal and Todd Clay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Khai Lee came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Stanmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khai Lee couldn't finish the play. Johnny Etherington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Stanmore booed when Moretonhampstead United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Bartrup didn't get a good kick on the ball.
