Adam Nagasaki started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shukrie Politiek in the 4th minute of play forced Archway's goalkeeper Merlin Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarb Lam hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in İnter's zone, Amir Seng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fariz Chan came out of the goal and Amir Seng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afriz Chee lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Archway fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! In the 20th minute there was a penalty for İnter. Iskandar Dyce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Merlin Teo. 1-0. Merlin Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clive Hian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Archway's Merlin Teo got control of the ball when Shukrie Politiek tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Archway booed when İnter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Hian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merlin Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shukrie Politiek in the 54th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bineesh Lim couldn't finish the play. Shah Paine's late challenge caught a İnter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, İnter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Amin to maneuver through the defense. Archway's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 86th minute of the game, when Bineesh Lim after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of İnter's goal. Bineesh Lim was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Adam Shyan kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. If Shukrie Politiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 92 minutes into the game, Bineesh Lim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Archway's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave İnter the free kick. Bineesh Lim kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Archway's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
