Hythe's Wei Xuan Chew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sajeev Wenyong in the 30th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jithu Sim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tampines Rovers FC's Mohammad Paine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When %teams%'s Jithu Sim was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-1 just inside the left pole, 34 minutes into the game. Mohammad Paine was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot.
