Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boscastle's Sharizan Liang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jithu Sim scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danial Pieng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hythe's Jithu Sim got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sharizan Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Zak Braddell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wei Xuan Chew, passed just outside the right post. 14 minutes into the game, Bineesh Tuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hythe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boscastle the free kick. The supporters of Boscastle booed when Hythe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bineesh Tuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Rajah's late challenge caught a Hythe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dale Rajah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Boscastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Rajah to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jithu Sim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danial Pieng was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Alam Sum cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danial Pieng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danial Pieng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Sim in the 33rd minute of the match. Khairil Liang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danial Pieng having to make a save. After having played for 34 minutes, Jithu Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hythe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jithu Sim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Jithu Sim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hythe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jithu Sim was the one to do the kick off. Sharizan Liang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wei Xuan Chew having to interfere. Danial Pieng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alam Sum in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Sim in the 56th minute of play forced Boscastle's goalkeeper Danial Pieng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danial Pieng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jithu Sim in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hythe's Khairil Liang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Danial Pieng. That made the score 0-6 after 72 minutes of play. After 79 played minutes Boscastle got a freekick which was hit by Sharizan Liang. Alam Sum charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alam Sum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alam Sum kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Sim in the 82nd minute of play forced Boscastle's goalkeeper Danial Pieng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Hythe's Khairil Liang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danial Pieng. Danial Pieng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 87th minute of the game, Zack Dryburgh landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Adam Keng fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boscastle's protests and gave Adam Keng a yellow card for diving instead. Hythe's Jithu Tan was substituted for Zack Dryburgh. The supporters of Hythe booed when Boscastle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Keng didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Amirul Liang sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wei Xuan Chew skillfully saved the ball. In the 95th minute, Hythe's Jithu Sim ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danial Pieng. Danial Pieng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Hythe played a much better game than Boscastle and deserved their victory. The Boscastle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
