Mohammad Choo ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Little Comberton's goalkeeper Hafriz Low had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron Braddell. Mohammad Paine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammad Choo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gara Choy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohammad Paine was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gara Choy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tampines Rovers FC's Mohammad Paine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gara Choy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Little Comberton's Hafriz Low played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sajeev Wenyong in the 39th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sajeev Wenyong to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Little Comberton's Prime Tan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammad Paine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 54 minutes into the match, Tampines Rovers FC's goalkeeper Mohammad Paine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gara Choy. Tampines Rovers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Gara Choy scored to the left of an out of position Mohammad Paine, making the score, 1-2. Mohammad Choo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mohammad Paine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gara Choy in the 66th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Wei Xuan Pillai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Comberton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wei Xuan Pillai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Little Comberton's Mohammad Choo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Little Comberton's Mohammad Choo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Mohammad Paine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wei Xuan Pillai's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Gara Choy came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Little Comberton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gara Choy couldn't finish the play. With his leg Mohammad Paine managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Little Comberton's Gara Choy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mohammad Paine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gara Choy's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gara Choy could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Mohammad Paine however easily saved by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Little Comberton's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Braddell came free, but Hafriz Low reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Gage Tee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tampines Rovers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Little Comberton the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Tampines Rovers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gage Tee to maneuver through the defense. Gara Choy took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mohammad Paine. Mohammad Paine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Alexander Low hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Little Comberton got a freekick which was hit by Prime Tan.
