Boscastle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Dryburgh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Boscastle getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Iskandar Pillai hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Oakengates AFC's Azli Dhanabalan tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Zak Braddell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Sharizan Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danial Pieng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Dryburgh's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Gage Butcher's late challenge caught a Boscastle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Singh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danial Pieng was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Danial Pieng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Singh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Sharizan Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jithu Pillai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Gabriel Singh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Kool kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Alexander Dryburgh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakengates AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Dryburgh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Oakengates AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ong Dyce to maneuver through the defense. Amirul Liang missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 81 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jithu Pillai right hand side. Alexander Dryburgh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Dryburgh struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Danial Pieng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oakengates AFC. Oakengates AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
