In the 13th minute Noh Siong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Congresbury FC's protests and gave Gara Wah a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Congresbury FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gara Wah hit a great ball. If Jonathan Lam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darren Lee struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Dale Tian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congresbury FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Congresbury FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
