If Lee Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Arif Yeo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Congresbury FC and the North Kilworth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Arif Yeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Alif Seng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Kilworth FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jerry Choo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haziq Braddell got free with Ryan Butcher in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shah Lee hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. If Lee Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Congresbury FC's Ryan Butcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haziq Braddell in the 34th minute of play. Darren Lee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khairul Chian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Lee Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Kilworth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lee Soon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Jerry Choo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When Gage Keng fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Kilworth FC's protests and gave Gage Keng a yellow card for diving instead. Gage Keng hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Darren Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairul Chian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryan Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lee Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Khairul Chian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Lee in the 71st minute of play. When Darren Lee came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Congresbury FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Lee couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, North Kilworth FC's goalkeeper Khairul Chian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alif Chong. Khairul Chian was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Alif Chong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alif Chong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Congresbury FC booed when North Kilworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alif Seng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Congresbury FC's Darryl Tan suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 89 minutes, Lee Soon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Kilworth FC and the Congresbury FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, North Kilworth FC's Lee Soon got a free kick in the 90th minute. Khairul Chian was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Alif Chong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alif Chong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the final whistle went the supporters of Congresbury FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant North Kilworth FC side.
