The audience was convinced that Haziq Soon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hafriz Sim was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Afriz Hsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifqi Tian in the 18th minute of play. Hafriz Sim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryan Sim in the 20th minute. After 24 played minutes FC Barçelona B got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Yeo. Hafriz Sim made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Bryan Sim sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC Barçelona B getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Rudy Soon hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Rifqi Tian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afriz Hsi. Willenhall AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rifqi Tian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rudy Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Afriz Hsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haziq Soon in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hafriz Sim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Haziq Soon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hafriz Sim having to make a save. Haziq Soon struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Hafriz Sim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willenhall AFC. In the 45th minute, Bryan Sim made a precise shot to the right of Hafriz Sim. FC Barçelona B's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haziq Soon to make the kick off. Bryan Sim struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hafriz Sim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willenhall AFC. If Haziq Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Rudy Soon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicholas Kool kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, FC Barçelona B's Adam Butcher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afriz Hsi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Hafriz Sim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Pieng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hafriz Sim came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Willenhall AFC's Bryan Sim. But to his dismay, Bryan Sim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Hafriz Sim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haziq Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryan Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes FC Barçelona B got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Yeo. After having played for 87 minutes, Bryan Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Willenhall AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Sim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afriz Hsi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Butcher in the 91st minute. Bryan Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Willenhall AFC's goalkeeper Afriz Hsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Willenhall AFC were the better team. Willenhall AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
