In the 17th minute, Gabriel Dryburgh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sean Singh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Chian's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Merlin Hoe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Tioe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Singh having to interfere. The supporters of Beckermet United booed when Newton Aycliffe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jithu Hoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Sean Singh managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Beckermet United's Daniel Chian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Newton Aycliffe FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Beckermet United's performance. The match ended with a win for Beckermet United.
