After a rather tough play, Golden Boys's Noh Low got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alif Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Keng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Khai Hian hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shah Henderson got free with Alif Hong in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Darryl Tee kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Golden Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Darren Keng came free, but Alif Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Riseley's Alif Hong threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darren Keng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Darren Keng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faris Chandran kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Darren Chien-Kwan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniz Seah having to interfere. The supporters of Golden Boys booed when Riseley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. SK Ching didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riseley's Daniz Seah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noh Low in the 31st minute of play. Daniz Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noh Low, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Darren Keng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alif Hong. That made the score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Faris Chandran kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Shah Henderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riseley's supporters rose to their feet, but Shah Henderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alif Hong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Shah Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Shah Henderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darren Chien-Kwan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Daniz Seah skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Darren Keng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alif Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Riseley's Daniz Seah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noh Low in the 63rd minute of play. Faris Chandran hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Khai Hian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daniz Seah. The goal made the score 1-1. Shah Henderson scored 2-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alif Hong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shah Henderson in the 82nd minute of play forced Golden Boys's goalkeeper Alif Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Keng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Chien-Kwan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Daniz Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Riseley were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Golden Boys for a fine match.
