When Daniz Swee came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Kingswood FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniz Swee couldn't finish the play. Alif Hong came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Kingswood FC's Mark Abdul. But to his dismay, Mark Abdul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniz Swee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alif Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Kingswood FC booed when Golden Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noh Low didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Kingswood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniz Swee to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Kingswood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noh Low came free, but Bakar Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darren Chien-Kwan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Daniz Swee made a precise shot to the right of Alif Hong. Golden Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Golden Boys's Afiq Ching got a free kick in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azly Wenyong in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alif Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniz Swee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Darryl Tee hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th match minute, Kingswood FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Abdul to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Mark Abdul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alif Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Swee in the 66th minute of the match. Alif Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Abdul in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Kingswood FC's Daniz Swee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alif Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniz Swee had several of the Golden Boys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Alif Hong as he didn't even see the shot coming. 82 minutes into the match, Kingswood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noh Low came free, but Bakar Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Mark Abdul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingswood FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Abdul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alif Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniz Swee's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Mark Abdul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingswood FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Abdul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alif Hong stood somewhat misplaced when Mark Abdul came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 94 minute. When the final whistle sounded Kingswood FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Golden Boys.
