Mark Abduls short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Firdauz Lam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 23 played minutes Croughton FC got a freekick which was hit by Mohammad Paine. Firdauz Lam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniz Swee in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute Daniz Swee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Firdauz Lam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniz Swee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Firdauz Lam having to make a save. Firdauz Lam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniz Swee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakar Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wong Wah in the 36th minute of the match. Firdauz Lam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Abdul in the 39th minute. Kingswood FC's Daniz Swee got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Wong Wah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wong Wah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Bakar Tian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wong Wah during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Croughton FC's Wong Wah got a free kick in the 46th minute. Mark Abdul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Firdauz Lam made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohammad Paine to strike the kick off in the second half. Firdauz Lam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniz Swee's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Azly Wenyong hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Wong Wah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Abdul in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Firdauz Lam saved Croughton FC from getting behind. Firdauz Lam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniz Swee in the 62nd minute of the match. Daniz Swee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Abdul couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Croughton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniz Swee came free, but Firdauz Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Mohammad Leng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes, Kingswood FC's Prime Vijiaratnam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Firdauz Lam came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line.
