Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 157) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ali Hong made the kick off which started today's match. Alif Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Hong's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Gara Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ali Hong's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alif Hong was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Golden Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bridlington the free kick. After 32 played minutes Golden Boys got a freekick which was hit by Khai Hian. Mohammad Politiek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alif Hong. Golden Boys's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Noh Low hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Golden Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Khai Hian to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Bridlington's Mohammad Politiek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Bridlington booed when Golden Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 46 minutes, Ali Hong made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Boys's Alif Hong tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Golden Boys's Khai Hian got his second yellow card of the match in the 83rd minute. The referee ordered Khai Hian off the ground. A collision led to Golden Boys getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Khai Hian hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Golden Boys got a freekick which was hit by Zafran Phua. Bridlington's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mohammad Politiek in the 89th minute. Alif Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Chien-Kwan in the 92nd minute of play forced Bridlington's goalkeeper Haziq Seng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Golden Boys fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bridlington were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
