Spectators: 6540 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 140) Riseley's Darren Keng started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Sprint Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Chai to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Sprint Athletic's protests and gave Felix Chai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Felix Chai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noh Choo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniz Seah saved Riseley from getting behind. When Riseley's Darren Keng in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sprint Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. SK Ching hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Aziz Hsin struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Daniz Seah didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sprint Athletic. When Aziz Hsin came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sprint Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Hsin couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sprint Athletic booed when Riseley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faris Chandran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darren Keng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wong Devan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Shah Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shah Henderson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Daniz Seah came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sprint Athletic's Aziz Hsin. But to his dismay, Aziz Hsin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aziz Hsin made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Riseley's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Hsin came free, but Daniz Seah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aziz Hsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aziz Hoe during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Riseley's zone, Noh Choo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniz Seah came out of the goal and Noh Choo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Shah Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shah Henderson took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wong Devan. Wong Devan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. During the 72nd minute of the match Felix Chai completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Felix Chai a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 73rd minute, Felix Chai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Riseley's Alam Lim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wong Devan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Riseley reached it. Shah Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Azam Dyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Daniz Seah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
