Spectators: 8033 (Terracing: 6025, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dale Yeo got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Kingswood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Nair to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Hock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Kingswood AFC's Dale Yeo in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paloma's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Chong in the 13th minute of play forced Kingswood AFC's goalkeeper Jonathan Hock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Yi-Sheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tan Phua who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Hock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Hock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Chong's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, John Chong recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Hock. John Chong showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Paloma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faizal Sarangapani to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Tan Phua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute John Chong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Hock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felix Koh fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paloma's protests and gave Felix Koh a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Paloma getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Felix Koh hit a great ball. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paloma's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Khai Choo was slow to take the kick. During this time Kingswood AFC's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when John Chong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Tan Phua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paloma's zone, Felix Yi-Sheng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Tioe came out of the goal and Felix Yi-Sheng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Yi-Sheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kingswood AFC's Dale Yeo got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, John Chong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Kingswood AFC's goal looked a bit too open when John Chong came free, but Jonathan Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paloma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! 83 minutes into the match, Paloma's goalkeeper Joel Tioe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Yi-Sheng. Tan Phua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Hock having to interfere. In the 86th minute, John Chong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Hock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tan Phua in the 90th minute of play. Dale Yeo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Tioe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Paloma getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Felix Koh hit a great ball. Felix Yi-Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Tioe having to interfere. John Chong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jonathan Hock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Hock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 102nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Paloma fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kingswood AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
