Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dale Mathews made the kick off which started today's match. Faizal Nair hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Long Lawford got a freekick which was hit by Didi Hui. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Sharizan Politiek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leconfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharizan Politiek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Tee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudy Chian charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudy Chian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Leconfield booed when Long Lawford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudy Chian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Leconfield's Shafiq Rajah dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Long Lawford's Alan Tee got control of the ball when Hafriz Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Leconfield booed when Long Lawford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Hsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Leconfield got a freekick which was hit by Shafiq Rajah. Sarb Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Shahron Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jerry Chong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarb Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hafriz Soon struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alan Tee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leconfield. A collision led to Leconfield getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dale Mathews hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Sarb Soon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 66th minute, Zack Chai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alan Tee was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Alan Tee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shafiq Rajah in the 71st minute of the match. Dale Mathews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Tee having to interfere. Sarb Soon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Shahron Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarb Soon might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shahron Lim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sarb Soon ran back to his position shaking his head.
