Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Liang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Sarb Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. Stockbridge's Felix Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarb Soon in the 8th minute of play. Felix Liang made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Sarb Soon sent off a good shot on target. Long Lawford's John Hsin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rudy Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rudy Chian came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Long Lawford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudy Chian couldn't finish the play. Sarb Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, John Hsin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Long Lawford's supporters rose to their feet, but John Hsin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Liang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stockbridge's Felix Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Stockbridge from getting a goal against them. John Hsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Long Lawford fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Long Lawford's Sarb Soon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarb Soon in the 62nd minute of play forced Stockbridge's goalkeeper Felix Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Sarb Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bakar Pieng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Rudy Chian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Felix Liang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Liang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarb Soon in the 88th minute of play. Rudy Chian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Liang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarb Soon in the 92nd minute of play forced Stockbridge's goalkeeper Felix Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Stockbridge defense, Jerry Chong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Liang. The Stockbridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Liang should have stopped the shot. Long Lawford's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
