Spectators: 7985 (Terracing: 5990, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Faizal Koh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rifki Choo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faizal Koh in the 4th minute of the match. Alif Teo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tyler Taggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Reach getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Azli Ching hit a great ball. Tyler Taggart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Tyler Taggart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rifki Choo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Faizal Koh struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rifki Choo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wythenshaw. If Tyler Taggart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Reach's zone, Faizal Koh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rifki Choo came out of the goal and Faizal Koh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Faizal Koh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Rifki Choo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Azli Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azli Ching was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alif Teo in the 69th minute of play forced Wythenshaw's goalkeeper Zafran Tan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Azli Ching managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reach's supporters rose to their feet, but Azli Ching was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zafran Tan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Wythenshaw getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Faizal Koh hit a great ball. Tyler Taggart's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rifki Choo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Reach's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tyler Taggart 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Reach's goalkeeper Rifki Choo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wythenshaw were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Reach's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Faizal Koh took the corner.
