Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sarb Soon got the match started through his kick off. Sarb Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lum having to interfere. Adam Lum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarb Soon in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, John Hsin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute Bineesh Lim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Tee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Siang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Tee having to interfere. Sarb Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bineesh Lim got free with Alan Tee in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alan Tee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Shiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Long Lawford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Hsin to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Chong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Ron Kool got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alan Tee was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bineesh Lim in the 25th minute of play forced Long Lawford's goalkeeper Alan Tee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Kool succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 29th playminute. Alan Tee made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ron Kool sent off a good shot on target. When Shah Hoe fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leytonstone United's protests and gave Shah Hoe a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Leytonstone United's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Chong came free, but Adam Lum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarb Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lum having to interfere. In the 47th minute Sarb Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sajeev Shiong was the one to do the kick off. Ron Kool kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Bineesh Lim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Leytonstone United's Adam Lum got control of the ball when Sarb Soon tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 56 in the game by Sarb Soon from a close distance when the talented Adam Lum managed to make a qualified save. Leytonstone United's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Ching in the 58th minute of play forced Long Lawford's goalkeeper Alan Tee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudy Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alan Tee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Shiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ron Kool charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ron Kool the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Leytonstone United got a freekick which was hit by Ron Kool. Rudy Chian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Lum having to interfere. Alan Tee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Kool, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rudy Chian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarb Soon got free with Adam Lum in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Sarb Soon made a precise shot to the right of Adam Lum. Leytonstone United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 84 minutes into the match, John Ching notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Long Lawford's Alan Tee. Alan Tee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leytonstone United's Adam Lum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Leytonstone United from getting a goal against them. Alan Tee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sajeev Shiong in the 96th minute of the match.
