Spectators: 6856 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1856, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dale Mathews started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Shafiq Rajah was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leconfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockbridge the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leconfield's Shafiq Rajah got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Dale Seah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th match minute, Stockbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Henderson to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Ryan Chien-Kwan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockbridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leconfield the free kick. In the 11th minute, Ryan Chien-Kwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Sharizan Politiek sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Liang skillfully saved the ball. After 18 played minutes Leconfield got a freekick which was hit by Shahron Leng. 21 minutes into the match, Dale Mathews notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stockbridge's Felix Liang. Felix Liang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Clive Mathews came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Stockbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Mathews couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Leconfield's Shahron Lim got control of the ball when Clive Mathews tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Mathews in the 32nd minute of play forced Stockbridge's goalkeeper Felix Liang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Leconfield booed when Stockbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Henderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Liang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hafriz Soon, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Hafriz Soon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Liang having to make a save. Felix Liang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hafriz Soon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Dale Mathews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leconfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Mathews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hafriz Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Leconfield were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dale Seah struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Shahron Lim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockbridge. Sharizan Politiek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Liang. Stockbridge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stockbridge's Felix Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Stockbridge from getting a goal against them. Dale Mathews recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hafriz Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Mathews in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Liang saved Stockbridge from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Felix Liang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Faizal Chee's late challenge caught a Leconfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faizal Chee helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stockbridge! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dale Mathews in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Liang saved Stockbridge from getting behind. In the 87th match minute, Stockbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Chien-Kwan to maneuver through the defense. Hafriz Soon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Felix Liang made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Dale Mathews put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Felix Liang. Hafriz Soon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hafriz Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Liang having to interfere. Leconfield played a much better game than Stockbridge and deserved their victory. The Stockbridge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
