Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) Warner United's Gara Lum started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Gara Lum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Warner United's goal looked a bit too open when Afriz Tian came free, but Alan Soon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warner United's Alan Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Tan in the 19th minute of play. If Afriz Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alan Soon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afriz Tian in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Longridge's Aziz Yip dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Warner United's Rifqi Tuan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rifqi Tuan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Warner United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rifqi Tuan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Warner United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Longridge. Afiq Pieng stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alan Soon. 2-0. In the 34th minute, Jerry Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Khai Abisheganaden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Nair in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Warner United's goalkeeper Alan Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Yip. A collision led to Warner United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Felix Kool hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Afiq Pieng sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alan Soon skillfully saved the ball. Warner United's Alan Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afriz Tian in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Afriz Tian to make the kick off. When Zack Tan fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Warner United's protests and gave Zack Tan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Longridge booed when Warner United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zack Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Lamar Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Soon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afriz Tian in the 58th minute of play forced Warner United's goalkeeper Alan Soon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warner United's Alan Soon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Yip in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Afriz Tian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Alan Soon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rudy Nair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Rudy Nair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khai Abisheganaden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Soon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Kool charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Kool the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Felix Kool hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Soon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afriz Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Gara Lum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afriz Tian struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alan Soon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Longridge. Khai Abisheganaden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayat Abisheganaden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Aziz Yip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Soon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Longridge fully deserved thier win.
