Bakar Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Micklefield defense, Adam Lum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryan Soon. The Micklefield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryan Soon should have stopped the shot. Mohammad Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Henderson having to interfere. Ryan Amin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Soon having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Micklefield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sharizan Lam to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prime Seah in the 33rd minute of play forced SAFFC's goalkeeper Victor Henderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Micklefield's Prime Seah in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAFFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Micklefield's zone, Afriz Chai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Soon came out of the goal and Afriz Chai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ryan Soon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afriz Chai in the 42nd minute of the match.

After a defensive mix-up in Micklefield's zone, Adam Lum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Soon came out of the goal and Adam Lum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Micklefield's goalkeeper Ryan Soon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adam Lum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ryan Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Henderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammad Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Afriz Chai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAFFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afriz Chai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryan Soon had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Afriz Chai from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ryan Soon made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Adam Lum sent off a good shot on target. Afriz Chai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SAFFC's Adam Lum got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
