After 10 minutes of play, Micklefield's Prime Seah made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lamar Tuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Prime Seah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Micklefield's goalkeeper Ryan Soon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Tian. Zack Tian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Soon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Beancurd FC's Afiz Boon got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Prime Seah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Micklefield's supporters rose to their feet, but Prime Seah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lamar Tuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beancurd FC's Lamar Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammad Lee in the 33rd minute of play. Prime Seah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prime Seah's late challenge caught a Beancurd FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prime Seah helped the player get up and apologised. Prime Seah hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Mohammad Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Tuan having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Khai Sim was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Micklefield's zone, Khai Sim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Soon came out of the goal and Khai Sim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Micklefield's Fariz Kang got a free kick in the 56th minute. Zack Tian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ryan Soon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Zack Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. A collision led to Micklefield getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Firdauz Sim hit a great ball. Khai Sim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ryan Soon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beancurd FC's Khai Sim got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Micklefield's Firdauz Sim got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Mohammad Lee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lamar Tuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prime Seah, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Beancurd FC booed when Micklefield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Firdauz Sim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afiz Boon hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Khai Sim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Mohammad Lee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Tuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Beancurd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prime Seah came free, but Lamar Tuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 96 in the game by Mohammad Lee from a close distance when the talented Lamar Tuan managed to make a qualified save. Beancurd FC's players were relieved. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Beancurd FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
