If Merlin Tuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Tim Addison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Tuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Middridge Village AFC's Danny Tindale came free and shot a quick shot against goal 14 minutes in the game, fortunately Lamar Tuan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to Middridge Village AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kelvin Harland hit a great ball. If Tim Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beancurd FC's Lamar Tuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Beancurd FC from getting a goal against them. Zack Tian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mitch Boston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harvey Searle hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tim Addison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lamar Tuan having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Tim Addison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lamar Tuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Zack Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beancurd FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Tian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beancurd FC's Zack Tian got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khai Sim kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lamar Tuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Addison in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Beancurd FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Farhan Au hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khai Sim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tim Addison's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lamar Tuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Lamar Tuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Addison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lamar Tuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Addison, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Beancurd FC's Lamar Tuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispin Wild in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Danny Tindale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lamar Tuan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Zack Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Boston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Lamar Tuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Addison, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Grant Flack hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Tim Addison struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lamar Tuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Middridge Village AFC. 96 minutes into the match, Beancurd FC's goal looked a bit too open when Crispin Wild came free, but Lamar Tuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Middridge Village AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beancurd FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
