Farnham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave goats united the free kick. Gara Hian kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Afriz Chian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zack Ching. Farnham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afriz Chian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Lamar Lum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, goats united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bineesh Lee to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Farnham's goalkeeper Zack Ching had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Peng. The supporters of Farnham booed when goats united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bineesh Lee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lamar Lum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. goats united's Zafran Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Ee in the 27th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zafran Chuan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 93rd match minute, Farnham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Teo to maneuver through the defense. The goats united support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
