In the 3rd match minute, Scorpio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rajah to maneuver through the defense. Afriz Chian might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khairul Lee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afriz Chian ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 8th minute Merlin Choy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khairul Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merlin Choy in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khairul Lee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merlin Choy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khairul Lee having to interfere. After some careless play in the goats united defense, Daniz Swee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zafran Chuan. The goats united fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zafran Chuan should have stopped the shot. goats united's Zafran Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniz Swee in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Scorpio FC's goalkeeper Khairul Lee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afriz Chian took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khairul Lee. Khairul Lee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Bineesh Lee struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Khairul Lee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for goats united. Afriz Chian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Khairul Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afriz Chian to strike the kick off in the second half. Scorpio FC's Khairul Lee proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Scorpio FC from getting a goal against them. Khairul Lee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afriz Chian's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 58th play minutes Arif Wenyong shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Zafran Chuan and just under the crossbar into goal. Arif Wenyong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes goats united got a freekick which was hit by Rifki Gopala Pillai. Daniz Swee took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zafran Chuan. Zafran Chuan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Afriz Chian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khairul Lee having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Wenyong during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Scorpio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Wenyong to maneuver through the defense. After 82 played minutes Scorpio FC got a freekick which was hit by Arif Wenyong. Afriz Chian struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Khairul Lee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for goats united. Afriz Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Scorpio FC's SK Hsi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Merlin Choy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
