Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lamar Lum made the kick off which started today's match. Zack Ching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jithu Ramachandran, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. But to his dismay, Muhammad Chan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 37 minutes into the game, Dale Ee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farnham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shenley City the free kick. Dale Ee hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Farnham booed when Shenley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azli Tioe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Tioe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dale Ee in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Tan during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Albert Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dale Ee took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Tioe. Albert Tioe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Muhammad Chan to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Farnham's Zack Ching got control of the ball when Muhammad Chan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shenley City's Jithu Ramachandran got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Farnham's Famih Chien-Kwan got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Farnham's goalkeeper Zack Ching had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Lim.
