In the 5th minute, Faris Tan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitch Boston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faris Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Middridge Village AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Paine came free, but Mitch Boston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Middridge Village AFC's zone, Faris Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Boston came out of the goal and Faris Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zack Paine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mitch Boston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Faris Tan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mitch Boston. The goal made the score 2-0. When Anil Lee came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chislehurst City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anil Lee couldn't finish the play. Middridge Village AFC's Stevie Chadwick suffered a fractured collar bone after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mitch Boston came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Chislehurst City's Zack Paine. But to his dismay, Zack Paine quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Middridge Village AFC's zone, Zack Paine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Boston came out of the goal and Zack Paine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faris Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faris Tan was the one to do the kick off. Faris Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chislehurst City's Faris Tan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faris Tan in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitch Boston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Middridge Village AFC's Mitch Boston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faris Tan in the 82nd minute of play. Faris Tan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mitch Boston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chislehurst City. Mitch Boston stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faris Tan's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Middridge Village AFC's zone, Faris Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Boston came out of the goal and Faris Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tim Addison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faris Tan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mitch Boston having to make a save. There was no doubt that Chislehurst City were the better team. Chislehurst City's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
