After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Muhammad Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shenley City's Albert Tioe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Rajah in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Scorpio FC's Khairul Lee got control of the ball when Muhammad Chan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Scorpio FC's Jerry Lee got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Muhammad Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shenley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Muhammad Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jithu Ramachandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Muhammad Chan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Scorpio FC's Khairul Lee. Khairul Lee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Muhammad Chan took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khairul Lee. Khairul Lee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Khairul Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Chan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Shenley City's Albert Tioe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Shenley City from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Shenley City's goal looked a bit too open when Arif Wenyong came free, but Albert Tioe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4-1 became the score in the 98th minute when Arif Wenyong elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Shenley City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
