After 14 minutes of play, Newton Heath FC's Khairul Wah made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muhammad Dyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Newton Heath FC booed when Tadcaster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Teo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Khairul Wah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Muhammad Dyce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Khairul Wah in the 20th minute. Tadcaster's Muhammad Dyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hock in the 21st minute of play. Lamar Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Wong Tan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Muhammad Dyce, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Khairul Wah got free with Muhammad Dyce in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Hock came free, but Muhammad Dyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Newton Heath FC's Bryan Chew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Henderson in the 36th minute of play. Bryan Teo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bryan Chew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Newton Heath FC's zone, Felix Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Chew came out of the goal and Felix Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tadcaster's Muhammad Dyce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wong Tan in the 60th minute of play. Felix Henderson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Hock came free, but Muhammad Dyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muhammad Dyce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Hock's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 79th minute Jonathan Hock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammad Dyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Dryburgh in the 81st minute of play forced Tadcaster's goalkeeper Muhammad Dyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
