Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Shahron Boon made the kick off which started today's match. Azly Hian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadcaster's Shahron Boon got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee gave Tadcaster a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Shahron Boon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Middridge Village AFC's Mitch Boston. 1-0. A collision led to Tadcaster getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ang Wenyong hit a great ball. Muhammad Dyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stevie Chadwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Middridge Village AFC booed when Tadcaster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azam Phua didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Harvey Searle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muhammad Dyce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Addison came free, but Muhammad Dyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Addison to make the kick off. Middridge Village AFC's Kyle Roebuck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Muhammad Dyce but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Crispin Wild managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middridge Village AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Crispin Wild was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammad Dyce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelvin Harland got free with Muhammad Dyce in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Muhammad Dyce came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Middridge Village AFC's Stevie Chadwick. But to his dismay, Stevie Chadwick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Muhammad Dyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispin Wild, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Azly Hian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute of the match Harvey Searle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Muhammad Dyce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mitch Boston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahron Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tadcaster's Muhammad Dyce got control of the ball when Stevie Chadwick tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ang Wenyong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Middridge Village AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crispin Wild to maneuver through the defense. If Shahron Boon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tadcaster had won after a very even match.
