Spectators: 6499 (Terracing: 5111, Seating: 1333, VIP seats: 55) Shenley City's Muhammad Chan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Tadcaster got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Teo. Shenley City's Faris Hian couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tadcaster. Muhammad Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hafriz Lam made in the 10th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Azly Hian immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Shenley City booed when Tadcaster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ang Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's goalkeeper Muhammad Dyce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhammad Chan. In the 19th minute, Muhammad Chan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Muhammad Dyce was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Muhammad Dyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azli Tioe in the 24th minute of the match. Albert Tioe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahron Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Rifqi Hui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shenley City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tadcaster the free kick. Rifqi Hui hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Shenley City's attentive Albert Tan managed to snatch the ball when Azly Lum made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Shenley City's goal looked a bit too open when Shahron Boon came free, but Albert Tioe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tadcaster's Shahron Boon in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shenley City's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Tioe came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Tadcaster's Shahron Boon. But to his dismay, Shahron Boon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shahron Boon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Shahron Boon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shenley City's Albert Tioe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Shahron Boon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shenley City's Albert Tioe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ang Wenyong in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shahron Boon in the 61st minute of play forced Shenley City's goalkeeper Albert Tioe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadcaster were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Shenley City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shahron Boon took the corner. 66 minutes into the match, Tadcaster's Shahron Boon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Albert Tioe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shahron Boon in the 70th minute of the match. Albert Tioe was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Ang Wenyong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ang Wenyong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 78 played minutes Shenley City got a freekick which was hit by Azli Tioe. Albert Tioe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Shahron Boon. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Shahron Boon took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Albert Tioe to make any attempt to save it. 88 minutes into the match, Shenley City's goal looked a bit too open when Shahron Boon came free, but Albert Tioe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Shenley City's goal looked a bit too open when Ang Wenyong came free, but Albert Tioe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th match minute, Tadcaster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azam Phua to maneuver through the defense.
