The tension between the Stoke Poges and the Bath players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zak Sum kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Stoke Poges's Daniz Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Zak Sum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
