Spectators: 6938 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 0) Clive Keng made the kick off and thus started the match. Rockport's Arif Laycock was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Denis Longley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Warrender in the 11th minute of play forced Rockport's goalkeeper Daniz Chong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Sharizan Seah left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rockport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Azam Paine during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Rockport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azam Paine to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lutterworth AFC's Ty Hitchen got a free kick in the 21st minute. Sharizan Seah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute Clive Keng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Longley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clive Keng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Longley having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Lutterworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sharizan Seah came free, but Denis Longley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bryan Warrender fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lutterworth AFC's protests and gave Bryan Warrender a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the match, Clive Keng notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Lutterworth AFC's Denis Longley. Denis Longley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sharizan Seah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Lutterworth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sharizan Seah came free, but Denis Longley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sharizan Seah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Longley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Lutterworth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Revell to maneuver through the defense. When Clive Keng came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Rockport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clive Keng couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryan Warrender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Azam Paine completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Azam Paine a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Clive Keng hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Sharizan Seah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockport's supporters rose to their feet, but Sharizan Seah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Longley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rockport's Albert Teo got a free kick in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Clive Keng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Longley. That made the score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. Ty Hitchen charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ty Hitchen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lutterworth AFC! In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lutterworth AFC's goalkeeper Denis Longley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Sharizan Seah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sharizan Seah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Denis Longley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 minutes of play, Rockport's Sharizan Seah made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Longley was left in no man's land by his defense there!
