Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. SK Yeo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Croydon's Shukrie Boon. But to his dismay, Shukrie Boon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 15th minute, Danish Leng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Ching struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. SK Yeo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croydon. SK Yeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shukrie Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fariz Wenyong might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Chien-Kwan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fariz Wenyong ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khairil Rajah during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sheerness United booed when Croydon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khairil Rajah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shukrie Boon scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of SK Yeo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SK Yeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Yang in the 30th minute of the match. Mark Ching hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Alif Tuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Afiz Chien-Kwan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute Ronn Tee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but SK Yeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Shukrie Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but SK Yeo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Yeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shukrie Boon was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Sheerness United's SK Yeo got control of the ball when Alan Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afiz Chien-Kwan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alif Tuan's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th match minute, Sheerness United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Dyce to maneuver through the defense. SK Yeo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ronn Tee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 61 minute of play. After 66th play minutes Alif Tuan shot 2-5, a short shot which went by Afiz Chien-Kwan and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dale Seng during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Croydon's Dale Seng got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alif Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Croydon's Afiz Chien-Kwan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afiz Chien-Kwan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alif Tuan's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Shukrie Boon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Croydon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 80 minutes into the match, Alan Yang notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Sheerness United's SK Yeo. SK Yeo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sheerness United's SK Yeo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Sheerness United from getting a goal against them. Shukrie Boon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without SK Yeo having to make a save. Shukrie Boon hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Croydon played a much better game than Sheerness United and deserved their victory. The Sheerness United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
