Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shukrie Tuan started the match with the kick off. Daniz Chai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Hirst in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Plumpton Green United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jerry Yeo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Shukrie Tuan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Shirebrook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shukrie Tuan couldn't finish the play. In the 15th match minute, Shirebrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajeev Siong to maneuver through the defense. Shirebrook's Ong Swee got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Jerry Yeo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Micheal Branson. Plumpton Green United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jerry Yeo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Plumpton Green United's Micheal Branson got control of the ball when Jerry Yeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Micheal Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shukrie Tuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Plumpton Green United's Casey Hamilton got a free kick in the 28th minute. Micheal Branson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shukrie Tuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The corner led Shirebrook's Alam Choo to fire away a dangerous shot which Micheal Branson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Boon charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Boon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Shirebrook getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jonathan Boon hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Jerry Yeo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Plumpton Green United's Micheal Branson. Micheal Branson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

After some careless play in the Plumpton Green United defense, Shukrie Tuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Micheal Branson. The Plumpton Green United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Micheal Branson should have stopped the shot. Micheal Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shukrie Tuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Shukrie Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniz Chai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Blewett in the 60th minute of play. If Jerry Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Shukrie Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plumpton Green United's Micheal Branson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Yeo in the 66th minute of play. Micheal Branson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shukrie Tuan went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd match minute, Shirebrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ong Swee to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Yeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Micheal Branson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Micheal Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shukrie Tuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green United's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Yeo came free, but Micheal Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Shukrie Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Shirebrook's Jerry Yeo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plumpton Green United's goalie prevented a goal. If Jerry Yeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Shukrie Tuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Yeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Micheal Branson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Shirebrook's Shukrie Tuan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Shirebrook walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
