Shahron Ching stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rifki Lim. 1-2. The Toa Payoh Town players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sudbury AFC were winning 1-2.

Rifki Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Devan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Faris Siang made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sudbury AFC's Ron Devan. Toa Payoh Town's Rifki Lim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faiz Singh in the 90th minute of play.
