Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shahron Ching started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darryl Devan during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Darryl Devan hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sudbury AFC's Shahron Ching got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ron Devan fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sudbury AFC's protests and gave Ron Devan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute of the match Jonathan Hian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khairil Seng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Azly Kool took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shahron Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lamar Yeo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sudbury AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lamar Yeo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azly Kool breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Sudbury AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Shukrie Dyce hit a great ball. Mujahid Choy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khairil Seng having to interfere. A collision led to Winner11 United getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zack Chien-Kwan hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Sudbury AFC's Azly Kool threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shahron Ching, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Azly Kool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Devan in the 27th minute of the match. Shahron Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Azly Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match Faris Ching sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khairil Seng skillfully saved the ball. Lamar Yeo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Winner11 United's Wei Xuan Abdul got a free kick in the 36th minute. Steven Boon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Azly Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noh Soon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sudbury AFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alif Pieng hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Sarb Henderson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khairil Seng was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mujahid Choy to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Winner11 United's zone, Steven Boon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azly Kool came out of the goal and Steven Boon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Faiz Singh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sudbury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faiz Singh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sudbury AFC's Khairil Seng got control of the ball when Sarb Henderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Faiz Singh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, Sudbury AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alif Pieng to maneuver through the defense. If Lee Chien-Kwan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Khairil Seng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mujahid Choy, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a little luck, Sudbury AFC's Khairil Seng got control of the ball when Sarb Henderson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Sudbury AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mujahid Choy came free, but Khairil Seng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faiz Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Azly Kool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Winner11 United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Faris Ching hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarb Henderson got free with Khairil Seng in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Noh Soon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Khairil Seng, 1-2. The supporters of Winner11 United booed when Sudbury AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hidayat Wenyong didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mujahid Choy came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Winner11 United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mujahid Choy couldn't finish the play. Khairil Seng was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Jonathan Hian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Hian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Winner11 United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
