Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Liversedge's Sean Lim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Braunton's Rifki Lim got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jithu Tioe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Abisheganaden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Faizal Hsi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Firdauz Hoe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jithu Tioe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rifki Lim in the 20th minute of play. Faizal Hsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jithu Tioe having to interfere. Faizal Hsi let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 24th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. After 28 played minutes Liversedge got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Abdul. 29 minutes into the match, Liversedge's goalkeeper Jithu Tioe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faizal Hsi. Bakar Abisheganaden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jithu Tioe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rifki Lim charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rifki Lim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rifki Lim hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ong Low stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sean Yeo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Faizal Hsi might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jithu Tioe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faizal Hsi ran back to his position shaking his head. Sean Yeo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ong Low didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liversedge. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bakar Abisheganaden made the kick off in the second half. If Faizal Hsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fariz Tee hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Sean Lim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Liversedge's zone, Faizal Hsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jithu Tioe came out of the goal and Faizal Hsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes, Braunton's Farhan Hui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jithu Tioe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Braunton reached it. Sean Lim hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Braunton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Liversedge for a fine match.
