Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Chandran in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicholas Hee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Abisheganaden was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. Jonathan Abisheganaden hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Toa Payoh Town's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicholas Yip 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Bow's Nicholas Hee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Chandran in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Azli Butcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rifki Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haziq Mathews, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Didi Hoe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Zak Swee scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rifki Lim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prime Paine was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Toa Payoh Town's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jonathan Chandran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Nicholas Hee skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Chandran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Nicholas Hee made a huge save. Nicholas Hee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prime Paine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Haziq Mathews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toa Payoh Town's Rifki Lim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Chandran in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicholas Hee, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 77th play minutes Prime Paine shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Nicholas Hee and just under the crossbar into goal. 80 minutes into the match, Prime Paine dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicholas Hee, 2-3. After 82 minutes, Jonathan Chandran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toa Payoh Town and the Bow players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Toa Payoh Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Chandran to maneuver through the defense. Prime Paine was slow to take the kick. During this time Toa Payoh Town's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Toa Payoh Town's Gage Kool to a score. 2-4 in the 86th minute. Nicholas Yip charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicholas Yip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Bow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Yip to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bow booed when Toa Payoh Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Hoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Toa Payoh Town supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Toa Payoh Town would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
