Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faris Soon struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ong Low didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polperro. Ong Low showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from SK Abdul, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. SK Abdul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ong Low having to interfere. In the 16th minute Bakar Abisheganaden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Ang Gopala Pillai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Lee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faris Soon in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ong Low saved Braunton from getting behind. If SK Abdul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 54th minute of the match, SK Abdul got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ong Low was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Braunton's Ong Low proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Braunton from getting a goal against them. Faris Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamir Chuan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamir Chuan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Braunton got a freekick which was hit by Hamir Chuan. Polperro's Faris Soon got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Braunton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Hui to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faris Soon in the 71st minute of play forced Braunton's goalkeeper Ong Low to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Faris Soon came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Polperro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faris Soon couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Polperro's SK Abdul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ong Low narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Braunton's Faizal Hsi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adam Lee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When Rifki Lim fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braunton's protests and gave Rifki Lim a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Braunton getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rifki Lim hit a great ball. Adam Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faizal Hsi in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when SK Abdul got free with Ong Low in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute, Braunton's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after SK Abdul fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 92nd minute, Rifqi Nair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Faris Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polperro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faris Soon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Polperro failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
